Alice Hurst

Alice Hurst is a native of Effingham County who was born and raised on the same piece of property that she still resides on today. She graduated from Effingham County High and went on to obtain her BBA in Marketing with emphasis in Sales from Georgia Southern University. Right out of college Alice worked for a local builder/developer in hopes to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales. Little did she know she would end up staying in the construction industry for 14 years. With no luck of a pharmaceutical interview she interviewed with a national warranty company that her employer utilized at the time and was selected out of 17 candidates to represent 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty in the Southeast as a Builder Sales Rep/Risk Management Specialist. She has worked with new home builders from Augusta, GA to the Jacksonville, FL state line and all areas in between for 14 years and has a wealth of knowledge about new home warranties, new home construction and remodelers. Being born and raised in this county Alice has always had a love for the community.

She has an 11-year-old son, Carson who she spends most of her time with making memories! Alice loves fishing, hunting, riding buggies or anything to do with the outdoors. Alice not only loves construction but loves land and just being outside! She chose to resign from her career of 14 years to quit traveling and stay close to home to help her parents. Her knowledge of construction, love for the community and passion for providing outstanding customer service that made her well known in the construction industry for 14 years is what led her to obtain her real estate license.

Alice states, “I don’t know exactly what role I will play in the real estate industry, I am putting it in God’s hands and I pray I go in the direction He is leading me. With my love for people, the outdoors, construction and marketing I know I will be able to help many people in the real estate industry and I look forward to my new venture and being able to work in the community!”
